Several new environmentally proactive initiatives are occurring within the City of Denton. This year, the City Council Environment Committee was created to address many issues including Stormwater Quality, Watershed Protection, Green Building programs, Air Quality Concerns, and upcoming regulatory challenges. Even more recently, the Division of Environmental Quality was established to ensure coordination and emphasis on environmental issues within the City. Many more exciting programs and activities are taking place, as you will discover browsing through these pages.
