Technology Services provides leadership and technical direction to the various departments of the City of Denton. The Technology Services group is responsible for all system implementations, security, and the tactical and strategic planning for technology solutions and services to support the City functions and service delivery to the citizenry. J.D. Edwards (HR and Financials), Tax, Municipal Court software, the Library system, all the PCs deployed in the organization, Utility Customer Service system, Geographic Information system, telephones, imaging solutions, e-mail, and Web-based training are a few of the technology improvements and initiatives Technology Services personnel have managed over the last three years.
